Anne-Sophie Lenoir was born in Burgundy,France and grew up in Switzerland. Sophie moved to the U.S. in 2000 with an initial career in food and beverage management with the Ritz Carlton Company. Although she always had a passion for photography, during a trip to Taos in 2004, Sophie fell in love with the culture and landscape, which renewed her enthusiasm for photography. Three years later Sophie decided to move to Taos permanently to devote more time to her passion.
Sophie's work is an expression of the beauty she sees in everyday life.Lately she has been creating photo mandalas, through which she seeks to delve into the other dimensions that exist in our consciousness and explore how those images can heighten our self-awareness.
